What is a Wallet?
A cryptocurrency wallet is an application that functions as a wallet for your cryptocurrency. It is called a wallet because it is used similarly to a wallet you put cash and cards in. Instead of holding these physical items, it stores the passkeys you use to sign for your cryptocurrency transactions and provides the interface that lets you access your crypto.
Do I need a wallet before signing into FANtium?
No you do not. If you sign in using social sign in providers or eMail, a Torus wallet will automatically be created for you. You can then use this wallet to do all your transactions and also store the tokens and cryptocurrency.
It is important to highlight that all wallets that are created on Torus during the sign in processes are created by Torus and not by FANtium. Torus creates the wallet and ensures that only you have access via your social account credentials. Neither Torus nor FANtium have access to your wallet at any time.
What is Torus?
Torus is a wallet provider that enables a one-click login for Web 3.0 applications such as decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges and NFT platforms. It serves as the mainstream gateway for users to access decentralized ecosystems through their personal and social media accounts such as Google, Facebook, Twitter and more.
It is important to highlight that all wallets that are created on Torus during the sign in processes are created by Torus and not by FANtium. Torus creates the wallet and ensures that only you have access via your social account credentials. Neither Torus nor FANtium have access to your wallet at any time.

When signing into the app I cannot see a token that I have bought before
This can be due to three reasons:
Either you have used a different sign in method / credentials than you did in the past. Please make sure that you always use the same sign in method and credentials every time you log into FANtium. If you do not do so, you will always create a new account with a new wallet meaning that you will not be able to see the purchases you have made in the past. If this is the case, simply log out of the app. Then login again with the method and credentials you used initially.
If you have made the purchase on a different platform (secondary marketplace) and have not yet transfered the token into a wallet that is connected with FANtium, you will not be able to see it on the platform.
You have transfered the token out of the wallet that is connected to FANtium. You will only be able to see tokens in the FANtium app if they are stored in a wallet that is connected to FANtium.

Where can I find my wallet address?
You will be able to find your wallet address by clicking on the “Profile” in the top right corner. Select “Wallet”. On the next screen you will see all the wallets that you have connected to the FANtium platform. Click on the three dots at the right side of the wallet. There you can click “Copy address”. Now you have copied your wallet address and can paste it wherever you need to.
What happens if I click on the FANtium logo in the bottom left corner of the screen?
Users that are logged in via Social sign ins (e.g. Google, Facebook, Twitter) and thus have connected a Torus wallet, will see a FANtium logo in the bottom left corner of the screen. Clicking on the logo opens your Torus wallet, where you will be able to do a number of things such as executing transactions, reviewing past transactions or topping up the wallet. This does, however, not happen in the FANtium environment. Instead you will be redirected to the Torus App for doing so.
How do I use WalletConnect with Torus?
WalletConnect is an open source tool that enables a mobile wallet to easily connect to decentralized web applications, and interact with them.
